Summary
Rothana does not exist on any Imperial-sanctioned maps. Yet even ten years ago, during the Clone Wars, it was a prime target for the Separatists. Rothana, the homeworld of the enigmatic and socially byzantine people of the same name, houses the Rothana Heavy Engineering Corporation. The corporation is a subsidiary of Kuat Drive and was responsible for the design and manufacture of several Clone War-era mega-scale weapons, defenses and ships. Today it is occupied by the Galactic Empire who uses the facilities- and pressed Rothana slave labor- to build the imperial war machine. Vessels that stumble upon Rothana without prior clearance encounter an ice world with large construction yards only diminished by Corellia and shipyards of that scale. Such vessel without clearance are warned away by a robust Imperial Navy presence and may be subject to forced search.
